Fed Uni has been Out & About getting support from some of the most talented AFL Players in the country. Nick Maxwell a former student at Federation University went on to Captain the Collingwood Football Club to an AFL Premiship in 2010. Luke Ball also played in a Premiership at the Pies that year. Up & coming talent Patrick Dangerfield of the Adelaide crows has also shown his support & he has also won the Grand Final Half Time sprint along with other league and club acolades.
KAITLYN Ashmore has been selected to play for Melbourne in a second AFL women’s challenge.
She was a top 10 selection in a draft on Monday night, when Melbourne and Western Bulldogs topped up their player lists for the exhibition match at Etihad Stadium on June 29.
Ashmore was picked up with selection nine in the second national draft She also lined up for the Demons last year after being pick 39. From Ballarat, Ashmore played with North Ballarat Eagles before moving to Melbourne University to play in the Victorian Women’s Football League premier division. She also represented Victoria last year
